Enhanced surveillance and uninterrupted public services ensured during holiday period
Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a detailed visit to the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave to review security arrangements ahead of Eid, according to a police spokesperson.
During the visit, the IGP personally assessed security measures and inspected the Safe City Control Room as well as the Police Facilitation Center (Cascade). Officials briefed him on the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, with a focus on surveillance and emergency response systems.
The IGP also met officers deployed on duty, commending their performance and dedication. He praised their professionalism in maintaining high alertness and ensuring public safety.
Highlighting public convenience, Rizvi announced that police facilitation centers will remain operational throughout Eid to provide uninterrupted services to citizens. He emphasized that efforts are being further strengthened to enhance public protection and service delivery.
Citizens were urged to promptly report any suspicious activity and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace. The IGP reiterated that safeguarding key national and international installations remains the top priority of Islamabad Police.
