The U.S. Central Command (United States Central Command) has stated that more than 9,000 strikes have been carried out against targets in Iran amid the ongoing conflict.
According to CENTCOM various strategic targets inside Iran have been hit, and around 140 Iranian naval vessels have been damaged or destroyed during the operations. The command noted that these actions have continued since the conflict began on February 28 involving coordinated military efforts alongside allied forces.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, CENTCOM said that U.S. forces are continuously using advanced weaponry to target Iranian military assets with sustained intensity. The statement emphasized that operations remain active despite reports suggesting ongoing diplomatic discussions.
The development comes at a time when geopolitical tensions in the region remain high. While U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated that talks with Iran are underway CENTCOM’s statement suggests that military operations have not slowed.
Observers note that the situation remains fluid, with both diplomatic and military tracks progressing simultaneously, keeping the region on alert as the conflict continues to evolve.
