LAHORE: Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has clarified the confusion regarding the extension of holidays, announcing that no further holidays will be granted and all educational institutions will reopen on April 1.
In a post shared on social media, the minister confirmed that academic activities will resume from April 1. He stated that the current holidays will end on March 31, after which regular classes will begin without any delay.
Rana Sikandar Hayat further said that the education system will pick up from where it left off, ensuring continuity in academic progress. He emphasized that efforts will now focus on minimizing learning losses among students.
The minister’s announcement aims to remove uncertainty among students, parents, and educational institutions regarding the academic calendar. Authorities have instructed all schools and colleges to prepare for the timely resumption of classes.
With this clarification, it has been confirmed that there will be no extension in the holiday period, and educational activities across the province will continue as scheduled from the beginning of April.
