Heavy Rains, Snowfall Predicted Across Pakistan; NDMA Alert Issued

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rainfall and snowfall affecting multiple regions across the country. Continuous downpours have already hit Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to issue alerts for further rains and snowfall in the coming days.

Tragically, late-night rainfall in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, caused a house roof collapse, killing three children and injuring two others. Authorities are providing relief and support to affected families.

Thunderstorms and showers are also expected in Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Snowfall is predicted for Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. NDMA has advised residents to remain cautious, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow official weather updates. Emergency services are on standby to assist those impacted by the severe weather conditions.
