US Warns of Possible Ground Operation in Iran Amid Rising Tensions

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

In a strong statement from Washington, Pete Hegseth warned that the United States is prepared to launch ground operations in Iran if necessary urging Tehran to choose diplomacy or face expanded military strikes. Speaking at a press conference, Hegseth said US forces are already conducting intense operations within Iranian airspace and possess far greater strategic options compared to Iran.

He emphasized that the coming days would be decisive, claiming Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly weakened and its leadership is under pressure. According to Hegseth, Iran fired a limited number of missiles in the past 24 hours, which US defenses are capable of intercepting.

Hegseth further stated that if Iran refuses to reach a deal, the US will intensify its attacks under ongoing military operations. He added that negotiations remain open, but military pressure will not be reduced. The US aims to permanently eliminate Iran’s strategic and nuclear capabilities.

During the same briefing, US General Dan Caine claimed that around 150 Iranian naval vessels had been destroyed, with continued strikes targeting key industries and research facilities across the country.
