Gold prices in Pakistan remain stable, reflecting steady global bullion trends and local currency movements.
KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Saturday, mirroring stability in international bullion markets. In Karachi’s Sarafa market, the price of 24-karat gold was steady at Rs490,362 per tola and Rs420,406 per 10 grams. Silver prices also held firm at Rs7,794 per tola and Rs6,682 per 10 grams.
Globally, gold traded flat at $4,676 per ounce, while silver remained steady at $73.10 per ounce. Analysts note that domestic gold prices continue to track international trends and currency fluctuations, with early April rates hovering around Rs503,000 to Rs504,000 per tola, indicating overall market stability.
The current steady trend follows gains observed a day earlier in both global and domestic markets, highlighting ongoing volatility driven by international economic factors and currency movements.
