Punjab Government Announces Petrol Subsidy: 20 Liters at 100 PKR per Liter for Motorcycle Owners

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Punjab government has clarified the procedure for motorcycle owners to avail petrol subsidies. Under this scheme, citizens can purchase 20 liters of petrol per month at a reduced rate of 100 PKR per liter, aimed at easing the impact of rising fuel prices.

According to private TV channels, those interested in this benefit must register on the website https://mkb.punjab.gov.pk. First, users need to click on the “Sign Up” button and enter their CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number along with a password of their choice. After completing the details, clicking “Submit” will generate an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to their mobile number, which, once entered, will create the account.

After account creation, users must log in using their CNIC and password, answer a simple security question, and then click “Sign In” to access their account.

Applicants then need to select the “Register New Complaint” option. Next, they must choose “Maryam ko Batayn” in the system and click “Next.” In the following step, applicants provide personal information and write 2–3 lines about their household situation. Once all information is submitted, clicking “Submit” completes the application. A confirmation message will be sent to the applicant’s mobile phone upon successful submission.

This scheme is specifically introduced for motorcycle owners so they can purchase petrol at a subsidized rate. The online system aims to make the application process simple and transparent, allowing maximum eligible individuals to benefit from this facility.
