Reema Khan Admits Slapping Co-Star During Film Shoot

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Reema Khan says she regrets losing control during a heated moment early in her career.

Reema Khan, a celebrated Pakistani film actress, director and producer, has revealed a controversial incident from her early acting days, admitting that she once slapped a fellow actress during a film shoot. The disclosure came during a recent appearance on a Geo TV podcast hosted by Mubashar Hashmee.

Reema, known for her successful film career spanning decades, shared that the incident occurred while filming Miss Istanbul in Islamabad under the direction of Shamim Ara. She explained that she was young at the time, between the ages of 18 and 25, and struggled to control her emotions when provoked.

According to Reema, the altercation began when a co-actress used abusive language toward her multiple times. “I was never someone who fought, but I lost control in that moment and reacted by slapping her,” she said, adding that the incident took place publicly in front of a crowd.

The actress expressed deep regret over her actions, emphasizing that she does not believe in using abusive language or physical confrontation. She noted that with maturity, she now believes such situations should be handled with patience and restraint.

Reema also clarified that rivalries between actresses, particularly the “number one or number two” debate, were often fueled by media narratives rather than personal conflicts within the industry.
