Islamabad police IG highlights dignity, rights, and vital role of workers in national development on Labour Day.
On Labour Day, Islamabad’s top police official delivered a strong and emotionally charged message highlighting the indispensable role of workers in shaping the nation’s future, drawing widespread attention across official and public circles.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, said that labourers form the backbone of national development and their hard work, honesty, and dedication remain central to the country’s progress. He emphasized that no society can move forward without recognizing the value and sacrifices of its working class.
In his special message, the IG stated that workers are a valuable asset to the nation, contributing directly to economic stability and ongoing development. He added that their consistent efforts strengthen every sector, from infrastructure to essential public services.
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi further reaffirmed that Islamabad Police remains fully committed to protecting the rights of the labour class. He stressed that ensuring dignity, safety, and welfare for workers is a shared responsibility of both the state and society.
He also paid tribute to labourers on Labour Day, acknowledging their sacrifices and tireless efforts as the foundation of societal growth. According to him, their contribution often goes unrecognized, despite being critical to national prosperity.
