Pakistan’s top military leadership on Wednesday extended Eidul Azha greetings to the nation, emphasizing unity, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the country’s security and stability.
According to the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with the chiefs of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy, conveyed heartfelt wishes to the people of Pakistan on the religious occasion.
In the Eid message, the armed forces prayed for lasting peace, prosperity, and harmony across the country. The military leadership stressed the importance of national unity and collective progress, describing them as essential pillars for Pakistan’s future.
The ISPR stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity under all circumstances. It added that safeguarding the nation continues to be their foremost responsibility.
The message further highlighted the true spirit of Eidul Azha, calling it a symbol of sacrifice, faith, and solidarity. The armed forces said these principles not only define the nation’s traditions but also form the foundation of military values and service.
Special tribute was also paid to the families of Pakistan’s martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices and unwavering resilience. The statement noted that the contributions of the shuhada have played a decisive role in strengthening the country’s security and stability over the years.
The armed forces reiterated that the sacrifices of martyrs remain a lasting source of pride and inspiration for the nation, adding that their legacy continues to guide Pakistan on its path toward peace, unity, and national strength.
