PML-N Claims Clear Lead in First Phase of AJK Elections, Tarar Hails Transparent Polls

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar says the first phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections witnessed active public participation and a transparent electoral process, expressing confidence that PML-N has secured a clear lead.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the first phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections witnessed vibrant political activity, with all major political parties actively participating in what he described as a transparent electoral process.

Speaking on the initial outcome of the polls, Tarar said preliminary information indicates that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has gained a clear advantage in the first phase of the elections. He expressed confidence that the party would continue its momentum, stating, “God willing, the lion will roar in Kashmir.”

The minister said the PML-N has consistently kept Kashmir among its top national priorities and has remained committed to addressing the region’s development and public welfare. He credited the party’s electoral performance to its campaign under the leadership of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Tarar also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for giving special attention to development projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said the federal government’s focus on infrastructure and public welfare initiatives has strengthened public confidence in the PML-N.

The minister’s remarks came as unofficial and preliminary election trends continued to emerge. Official results are expected to be announced by the Election Commission after the completion of the counting process.
