New digital property transfer services at the Pakistan High Commission in London allow overseas Pakistanis to transfer Punjab properties without visiting Pakistan or appointing a representative.
ISLAMABAD/LONDON: The Pakistan High Commission in London has announced the launch of a direct digital property transfer service for overseas Pakistanis, expanding consular services in line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision of improving facilities for citizens living abroad.
According to a statement shared by the Pakistan High Commission on X, overseas Pakistanis can now complete the digital transfer of properties located in Punjab directly at the High Commission without requiring a power of attorney, a third-party representative, or an agent.
The mission said the property transfer process is carried out through a secure digital system, making it more transparent, faster, and cost-effective. The new service also eliminates the need for overseas Pakistanis to travel to Pakistan to complete property-related formalities.
As part of the initiative, the High Commission confirmed that it has successfully completed the digital transfer of a property belonging to Mr. Fazal and his family, describing it as a milestone in improving consular services for the Pakistani diaspora.
