PML-N Senator Abid Sher Ali has married for the second time in a private ceremony in Islamabad, according to close family sources.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Abid Sher Ali has married for the second time in a private ceremony held in Islamabad, according to close family sources.
The senator’s new wife reportedly belongs to a business family from Haripur that has longstanding ties with Abid Sher Ali’s family. The wedding was kept low-key, with only a limited number of relatives, friends and political associates invited to the event.
Among those reportedly attending was Faisalabad MPA Mian Tahir Parvez. The restricted guest list reflected the family’s decision to keep the occasion private.
Abid Sher Ali’s first wife died several years ago after an illness. Following her death, the PML-N leader focused on raising and caring for his children.
News of his second marriage has since drawn congratulatory messages from friends, political colleagues and party workers. Well-wishers have also offered prayers and expressed their best wishes for the senator as he begins a new chapter in his personal life.
