AC Inspects DHQ Hospital Nowshera, Orders Backup Power for Operation Theatre
NOWSHERA: An assistant commissioner inspected the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Nowshera and reviewed key administrative and healthcare arrangements, including medicine stocks, staff attendance records and conditions in various wards.
During the visit, the assistant commissioner conducted a detailed inspection of different hospital departments and reviewed ongoing renovation and construction work. The inspection focused on the availability of essential medicines, staff presence and the overall condition of facilities being used by patients.
The assistant commissioner also assessed development and improvement work underway in various sections of the hospital and reviewed the progress of the ongoing renovation activities.
A key issue raised during the visit was the need for an uninterrupted electricity supply to the operation theatre. The Medical Superintendent (MS) was directed to make immediate temporary arrangements for an alternative or dedicated power supply to ensure that surgical procedures are not disrupted because of power outages.
The directive is aimed at minimizing potential difficulties for patients and maintaining continuity of medical services, particularly during surgical procedures where an uninterrupted power supply is essential.
