ISLAMABAD: The federal government has revised the prices of petroleum products, increasing the price of petrol by 77 paisa per liter while reducing the price of diesel by Rs1.03 per liter.
According to a notification issued by the federal government, the petrol price has been increased by 77 paisa per liter.
The government also decided to reduce the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.03 per liter.
The notification formally announced the changes in petroleum product prices.
The latest adjustment means consumers will pay more for petrol, while diesel users will receive a marginal reduction in the per-liter price.
Petroleum prices are reviewed by the government periodically, with changes affecting transport costs, fuel expenses and other sectors of the economy.
