Attaullah Tarar says the reception reflected the close ties and mutual respect between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan as both sides signed agreements and MoUs in various areas.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar praised the warm reception accorded to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov during the premier’s visit to Bishkek.
In a post on X, Tarar said it was “deeply heartening” to witness the warmth with which President Zhaparov received the Pakistani prime minister.
He said the gracious reception, guard of honour and playing of the national anthems of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan reflected the “genuine affection and mutual respect” between the two countries.
Tarar also expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz hosts for what he described as their exceptional hospitality.
He further said agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan covering a variety of areas.
