Information Minister Attaullah Tarar says the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad provide comprehensive guidance for youth and society.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has urged young people to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, saying the Seerat-un-Nabi provides guidance for success in every aspect of life.
Tarar made the remarks while addressing a one-day seminar titled “Seerat Ka Paigham, Naujawano Ke Naam” organized by the National Rahmatul-lil-Alameen and Khatam-un-Nabiyyin Authority.
The information minister began his address by reciting verses from Surah Ad-Duha. He said the life of Prophet Muhammad is the best example for Muslims and that Allah has described the noble qualities of the Prophet in the Holy Quran.
Tarar said Allah bestowed miracles upon Prophet Muhammad and sent him as a mercy for all the worlds. He added that even non-Muslim thinkers had written about and praised the Prophet’s noble character.
The minister stressed that implementing the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi is an urgent need of the time. He said the first message for young people should be obedience and respect for their parents, describing it as a path to success.
“Orders regarding respect and obedience to parents are very clear,” Tarar said.
He noted that Prophet Muhammad established guiding principles for every sphere of life and emphasized that success lies in following his teachings.
Referring to the State of Madinah, Tarar said its values of harmony and tolerance should serve as a guiding example. He also highlighted the Prophet’s conduct during the Conquest of Makkah, when a general amnesty was announced.
The information minister said Prophet Muhammad always demonstrated patience and forgiveness. He further noted that Islam granted women a special status and important rights.
Tarar urged the younger generation to study the Seerat and incorporate its teachings into their daily lives.
