The newborn is the couple’s second daughter and the younger sister of Dua, who was born in September 2024. The couple had previously shared the news of Dua’s arrival through social media.
Deepika and Ranveer announced their second pregnancy in April this year in a social media post featuring Dua holding a positive pregnancy test.
The latest announcement quickly drew congratulations from fans and members of the Indian entertainment industry. Several Bollywood personalities also shared their wishes in the comments section of the couple’s post.
Deepika has previously spoken about how motherhood changed her outlook on life. She said becoming a mother pushed her beyond her comfort zone and helped her become more emotionally and socially open.
