Police officials, security forces officers and local administration representatives attended the funeral of Constable Sirajuddin at Police Lines Tank.
Police Constable Sirajuddin, who was killed in a hand grenade attack on a police guard at Jandola Hospital in Tank, was offered funeral prayers with full state honors at Police Lines Tank.
The funeral was attended by Tank District Police Officer Abdul Samad Khan, the local commanding officer of the Pakistan Army, Additional Deputy Commissioner Naimatullah Khan Kundi, Assistant Commissioner Jamshed Alam, SP Investigation Khalid Mahmood, DSPs, security forces officers and other police personnel.
A well-drilled police contingent presented a guard of honor to the martyred constable during the funeral ceremony. Senior officials and other attendees paid tribute to Sirajuddin by laying floral wreaths over his coffin.
Prayers were also offered for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and for his eternal peace.
Constable Sirajuddin was killed while performing security duties as part of the police guard at Jandola Hospital in Tank. The incident involved a hand grenade attack, according to the information provided by police authorities.
The funeral ceremony was held in the presence of police and security officials as well as representatives of the district administration, reflecting the official tribute paid to the martyred police constable.
