Pakistani actor Imran Abbas says he is no longer working in television dramas as he focuses on real estate, architecture, a new Islamabad construction project and charitable activities.

Pakistani actor Imran Abbas has stepped away from television dramas to focus on his real estate business, architectural interests and charitable activities, marking a significant shift in his professional priorities.

During a recent phone-in appearance on Mishi Khan’s morning show, Abbas confirmed that he was no longer working in television. He explained that his attention had shifted toward construction and property development, leaving him with less focus on new acting projects.

The actor revealed that he had launched a construction project called Eyrie in Islamabad. The development is a 12-storey building located in Mumtaz City, near Islamabad International Airport. According to Abbas, the project is expected to be completed in approximately two and a half years.

Abbas said real estate and architecture had become major areas of interest in his life. Instead of signing new television dramas, he is concentrating on developing his business and overseeing the construction venture.

His decision represents a change for an actor who has built a strong following through his performances in Pakistani television dramas. However, his current priorities appear to extend beyond the entertainment industry, with business development now taking up a significant part of his professional life.

Alongside his business commitments, Abbas also discussed his interest in charitable work. He said the loss of his parents and the fact that he has no children had influenced his perspective on life.

The actor explained that he wanted to contribute to the welfare of others and pursue activities that he believes could provide lasting spiritual benefits. His remarks highlighted the personal considerations behind his growing interest in philanthropy.

Abbas is known for his performances in several popular Pakistani dramas, including Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Noor Ul Ain, Koi Chaand Rakh, Ehraam-e-Junoon and Tumhare Ishq Ke Naam.

His work in television has made him a familiar face among Pakistani drama audiences. His latest comments, however, suggest that he is entering a different phase of his career, with real estate, architecture and charitable activities taking priority over television acting.

While Abbas has confirmed that he is no longer working in television, his announcement does not establish whether he intends to return to acting in the future.
