NOWSHERA: (Anwarzeb Khan) Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed has established a new police station in Kheshgi, Nowshera, in a move aimed at improving law and order and enhancing public services in the area.
According to official details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police department has issued a formal notification outlining the jurisdiction of the newly established Kheshgi Police Station. Several areas previously falling under Nowshera Kalan Police Station and Risalpur Police Station have been merged into the new jurisdiction to improve policing efficiency.
District Police Officer Nowshera has appointed Sub-Inspector Fakhar Salam as the first Station House Officer (SHO) of Kheshgi Police Station. Authorities have also directed the immediate deployment of full staff to ensure the station becomes operational without delay.
Police officials stated that the establishment of the new police station is expected to serve as a milestone in maintaining peace and stability in the region. The initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen community policing and improve response times to criminal activities.
The District Police Officer said the new facility would help curb crime more effectively and provide improved law enforcement services to residents, ensuring quicker access to police assistance and enhanced public safety across Kheshgi and surrounding areas.
