Imran Khan’s Sons Seek Permission to Visit Father, Urge Global Rights Attention

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

WEB DESK: (Anwarzeb Khan) Qasim Khan, son of Former Pakistani Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has alleged that Pakistani authorities are deliberately delaying visa approvals to prevent him and his brother from visiting their jailed father.

In a statement, Qasim Khan said that Imran Khan has been held in solitary confinement for 914 days and expressed serious concerns about his father’s deteriorating health. He claimed that the former premier has been denied access to adequate and independent medical care while in custody.

Qasim said he and his brother intend to travel to Pakistan to meet their father but alleged that the government is intentionally refusing to process their visa applications. He described denying medical treatment to a prisoner as “inhumane” and preventing children from meeting their father as “collective punishment.”

The statement also urged International Human Rights Organizations and Foreign Governments to take notice of the situation before irreversible harm occurs. Pakistani authorities have not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
