In two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized 24 militants belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Kharij.
The first operation, conducted in Orakzai District following reports of militant presence, resulted in a fierce firefight where 14 militants were killed. Another operation in Khyber District led to the elimination of 10 additional militants during a subsequent exchange of fire.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to identify and eliminate any remaining militants in the area. Authorities stressed that these actions are part of Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the federal “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
Officials confirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism and ensuring the safety and stability of the country.
