Religious Scholars Lead Protest Rally in Sargodha Against Islamabad Imambargah Suicide Attack

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

SARGODHA: (Tahir Kamboh) Religious scholars and community members from various schools of thought staged a protest rally in Sargodha’s Block No. 7 against the recent suicide attack at an imambargah in Islamabad, organizers said.

The rally began at the Block No. 7 imambargah and was led by Principal Darul Uloom Muhammadiya, Allama Malik Naseer Ahmed Tabassum. A large number of scholars, including Allama عمران علی رانجھا, participated, representing Ahle Hadith, Ahle Sunnat, Deobandi, Barelvi and other religious groups.

Participants strongly condemned the Islamabad attack and chanted slogans against terrorism. Religious leaders urged the Government of Pakistan to take immediate and effective action against those responsible for the attack and ensure they are brought to justice.

Speakers at the rally alleged that foreign-backed elements were involved in promoting terrorism in the country, reflecting sentiments expressed during the demonstration. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening security measures to prevent such incidents.

The scholars expressed solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces and security institutions, describing them as vital for national defense. They reiterated their commitment to standing alongside state institutions and said they are ready to make sacrifices for the country’s peace, stability and territorial integrity.
