PAF Successfully Concludes ‘Golden Eagle’ Exercise Showcasing Advanced AI Warfare Capabilities

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

PAF exercise emphasizes AI, integrated air defense

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully concluded Exercise “Golden Eagle” in the Southern Air Command region, aimed at evaluating full-spectrum combat readiness and operational agility, officials said.

The two-sided exercise focused on network-centric operations supported by artificial intelligence while integrating locally developed smart and disruptive technologies in response to evolving regional security dynamics.

Under a robust integrated air defense system, friendly forces conducted kinetic operations synchronized with cyber, space, and electromagnetic spectrum operations, creating a multi-domain battlefield environment. During the kinetic phase, swing-role fighter jets demonstrated “first shoot, first kill” capability using long-range beyond-visual-range (BVR) missiles, stand-off weapon systems, and precision targeting techniques. These operations were supported by airborne early warning and control platforms and air-to-air refueling aircraft.

A key highlight of the exercise was manned-unmanned teaming, where long-range combat drones and loitering munitions carried out effective missions in complex and contested operational environments, underscoring modern warfare preparedness.

The exercise was conducted under unified command and control from the Next Generation All-Domain Command and Control Center at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

Officials said the successful completion of Exercise Golden Eagle reaffirms PAF’s commitment to maintaining peak operational preparedness, leveraging indigenous innovation, and staying fully prepared to counter emerging security challenges.
