Addressing the conference, Allama Ashrafi strongly condemned the recent terrorist incident in Islamabad, stating that hostile elements, after facing defeat, are now targeting innocent civilians, including women and children. He emphasized that the nation remains fully aware of such conspiracies and is determined to thwart the enemy’s malicious intentions. He also praised the spirit of unity demonstrated by young people who donated blood for the victims, calling it a powerful example of national solidarity. According to him, Pakistan’s clear stance at the international level has further isolated its adversaries.
Speakers highlighted that implementing the Paigham-e-Pakistan code of conduct is a shared responsibility and urged the public to reject sectarianism and promote peace. The Additional Deputy Commissioner General announced that the Punjab government has canceled Basant and other celebrations following the tragedy.
