ISLAMABAD: Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa expressed deep sorrow over the deadly suicide attack at a mosque in Islamabad, strongly condemning the act as an attack on humanity. In a telephone call with Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, he conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed and extended sympathy to the injured.
Al Khalifa emphasized that Bahrain has always stood with Pakistan and will continue to do so, condemning all forms of terrorism. He praised Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against extremism and reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts. The conversation highlighted Bahrain’s appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts in safeguarding regional and global security.
Minister Naqvi thanked his Bahraini counterpart for expressing solidarity and stressed the importance of coordinated international measures to combat terrorism.
