Chery Pakistan unveils flagship Tiggo 9 PHEV with premium features and 1.36 crore rupee ex-factory price
Chinese automotive brand Chery Pakistan officially launched its flagship Tiggo 9 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in Pakistan, marking a significant step in the local hybrid SUV market. The ex-factory price for the seven-seater all-wheel-drive SUV is set at 1.3694 million Pakistani rupees, with an initial booking fee of 3 million rupees.
The Tiggo 9 PHEV features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with three electric motors and a 34.46 kWh battery, producing a total output of 610 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque. It can travel up to 145 kilometers on battery alone, while the combined fuel and battery range reaches 1,190 kilometers.
Inside, the SUV offers a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 14-speaker Sony audio system, panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Comfort features include six-way adjustable heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, and heated and ventilated second-row seats. Safety is enhanced with 10 airbags, advanced ADAS technology, automated parking assistance, heated leather steering, remote control, voice assistance, and headrest speakers.
The launch follows Chery’s showcase at the PAPS Auto Show in November 2025, which presented the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8, and Tiggo 9 PHEV models. The Tiggo 7 PHEV is expected to debut later this year.
