Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: The government has constituted a two-member medical panel to evaluate the eye condition of former prime minister Imran Khan according to official sources. The panel is expected to conduct its assessment soon with further decisions including possible hospital transfer to be based on its recommendations.

Earlier Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that Khan would receive specialized ophthalmic care at a dedicated medical facility. He emphasized that expert examinations would be conducted and a detailed report submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Tarar also urged the public and media to avoid speculation regarding Khan’s health.

Concerns about Khan’s eyesight were highlighted in a report submitted to the court by Barrister Salman Safdar. The report claimed Khan has lost approximately 85 percent of vision in his right eye with symptoms including blurred and watery eyes. It recommended urgent evaluation by specialists or access to his personal physicians.

Khan currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail reportedly expressed satisfaction with security and food quality but criticized medical facilities as inadequate. The report also cited hygiene concerns and limited access to healthcare services.

Authorities were directed by the court to ensure compliance with humanitarian and legal standards, including access to medical specialists and communication with family members.
