Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to take action against former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur over his statements regarding Bushra Bibi and Aleema Khan.
According to party sources, PTI’s central leadership reviewed Gandapur’s recent interviews and public remarks concerning the family members of PTI’s founding chairman. The decision to initiate action was made after consultations and meetings held at Adiala.
Sources further revealed that before finalizing the decision, the party leadership sought complete details of Gandapur’s interviews and statements. After carefully examining the video clips and comments, the leadership concluded that disciplinary action was necessary.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that no remarks against the founding chairman’s family would be tolerated. Meanwhile, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said Gandapur had made several statements and assured that an appropriate response would be given.
He added that no issue would be left unanswered, but emphasized that “today is not the day,” indicating further steps may follow.
