Five Militants, Including Suicide Bomber, Killed in Pishin IBO: ISPR

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Militants were planning attacks on police lines and educational institutions, Officials say

Security forces killed five terrorists, including a suicide bomber, during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Pishin district, according to a statement issued Monday by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The military’s media wing said troops engaged a militant formation armed with multiple weapons. After an intense exchange of fire, the suicide bomber detonated himself, while four other militants were shot dead. Authorities described the group as being involved in several terrorist activities in the region.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the site. Security forces have launched follow-up sanitization operations to eliminate any remaining militants in the area.

A spokesperson for the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Balochistan confirmed the operation, saying the group had allegedly planned attacks on police lines and Cade College in Pishin.

The development comes amid heightened counter-terrorism efforts under the national campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam.” Earlier this month, security forces concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan, killing 216 militants following a series of coordinated attacks across the province.
