TEL AVIV: Indian Prime Minister arrived in Israel on a two day official visit where he was warmly received at the airport by Israeli Prime Minister and his wife.
During his visit Modi is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli President to discuss strengthening India Israel strategic partnerships. The discussions will focus on expanding cooperation in trade defense technology and innovation.
On Thursday Modi will address the Israeli Parliament, highlighting the deepening ties between the two nations and the shared vision for regional stability and economic growth.
The Indian government noted that talks have already begun on a potential India-Israel free trade agreement. Bilateral trade between the two countries has reached approximately $362 million and both sides aim to further boost economic collaboration.
The visit reflects India’s growing engagement with Israel emphasizing not only trade and investment but also collaboration in defense, cybersecurity, agriculture and technology. Leaders from both countries have highlighted the long-standing friendship and shared strategic interests that continue to shape India-Israel relations.
