ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday declared that there would be no compromise on the defense of Pakistan, warning that any act of aggression by an دشمن would be met with a forceful and decisive response.
In a statement, the prime minister emphasized that safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country remains the government’s top priority. He said the nation stands united behind its armed forces and will not allow any threat to undermine its security.
Sharif praised the leadership of Asim Munir, saying the armed forces, under his command, are performing their duties with dedication, professionalism and unwavering resolve. He noted that the military remains fully alert and prepared to respond effectively to any external or internal challenge.
The prime minister added that Pakistan seeks peace in the region but will not hesitate to defend its homeland against any hostile designs. He reaffirmed the government’s continued support for the armed forces and stressed that national security and stability are non-negotiable pillars of state policy.
