Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that it will continue targeting United States and Israeli military installations across the Middle East until it believes the threat against Iran has been fully eliminated.
In a statement released through Sepah News, the force declared that it would only stop its military campaign once the enemy has completely surrendered. The statement came after the IRGC claimed its 38th wave of attacks struck the US Al Udairi base in Kuwait reportedly injuring more than 100 personnel who were taken to nearby hospitals.
The IRGC also said missile and drone strikes targeted US naval facilities at Mina Salman Port in Bahrain, which hosts the United States Fifth Fleet. Additional attacks were reported against Ali Al-Salem Air Base and Mohammed Al Ahmad Naval Base in Kuwait.
Meanwhile, Iran’s military claimed drone strikes hit Israeli military intelligence facilities, including Unit 8200 as well as radar installations and naval command centers in Haifa.
The escalation follows joint US Israeli airstrikes on Tehran on February 28 which Iran says killed former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior officials.
