ANF Seizes Over 78kg Drugs, Arrests Three Including Woman in Nationwide Crackdown

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan’s ANF intensifies nationwide operations against drug trafficking networks

Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested three suspected drug traffickers, including a woman, and seized more than 78 kilograms of narcotics during nationwide operations targeting drug smuggling networks, officials said Thursday.

According to an ANF spokesperson, authorities recovered 78.24 kilograms of drugs valued at over 7 million Pakistani rupees in multiple raids across different cities.

In one operation at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, officials intercepted a parcel destined for New Zealand. During inspection at the cargo shed, authorities discovered 6.24 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “ice,” concealed within a bedsheet.

In another raid near a hotel in Yaro area of Pishin district, ANF officials recovered 48 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle and arrested a suspect at the scene.

Separately, authorities seized 12 kilograms of hashish during a vehicle search on GT Road in the Fakirabad area of Attock, taking another suspect into custody.

In Mianwali district, ANF personnel arrested a woman after recovering 12 kilograms of hashish from her possession.

Officials confirmed that cases have been registered against all suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act of 1997, and further investigations are underway to trace broader smuggling networks.
