The owner of China’s prominent crane manufacturer Hainan Kuangshan Crane Company Limited has distributed billions of yuan in cash bonuses to employees in a unique and engaging manner. Following a profit of 270 million yuan the company allocated around 180 million yuan (over 7 billion Pakistani rupees) to its workforce during its annual celebration, with more than 60 million yuan given in cash bonuses.
Approximately 7,000 employees attended the event which featured 800 tables. During the ceremony some employees were invited on stage to receive awards while others were instructed to take as much cash as they could from bundles placed on the tables within a set time. The initiative encouraged a lively and interactive bonus distribution creating a memorable experience for the staff.
Company chairman Choi P. Jun instructed the finance department to prioritize additional cash over household items and announced an extra 20,000 yuan for every employee.
Founded in 2002 the company manufactures cranes and various other products and exports to over 130 countries. This is not the first time the firm has rewarded employees generously. In 2024 the company distributed 170 million yuan in bonuses and in March 2025 it gave 1.6 million yuan to 2,000 female employees to mark International Women’s Day. The event reflects the company’s commitment to employee satisfaction and recognition.
