Abbottabad:(Roshan Khan Wazir) – It has been a week since the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa pledged justice in the murder case of Dr. Warda, yet no visible progress has been made. The health community has expressed serious concern over the delay in publishing the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report and implementing its recommendations.
Officials assured the public that the case would not face undue delays and that justice would be visible and prompt. However, after a week, no official order has been issued, no practical steps have been taken, and the family of the late doctor has yet to receive relief. This silence raises serious questions about whether the earlier assurances were merely political promises.
Dr. Warda, who was killed while performing her duty, left behind two young children. The case is not just about one doctor or her family; it tests the province’s justice system, women’s protection, and the state’s responsibility.
Health professionals and public advocates are urging the Chief Minister to take immediate action by implementing the JIT report, ensuring transparent and swift legal proceedings against the accused, and providing justice for Dr. Warda’s children.
