PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has expressed frustration over the continued denial of a personal doctor to Imran Khan stating that while he apologizes if his anger has hurt anyone it is justified.
In a video statement Gandapur said concerns regarding Imran Khan’s health, including his eyes, remain unresolved. He highlighted that during his government universal health cards were introduced to provide free healthcare a service later expanded nationwide under the PTI led administration when Imran Khan was Prime Minister. Despite these efforts for public health Gandapur noted the PTI founder is now facing difficulty accessing personal medical care.
Gandapur stressed that even a small and reasonable request granting Imran Khan access to his personal physician has yet to be fulfilled. If people are not angry over this I believe there is a lack of humanity he remarked.
He urged supporters and the public to stay focused on the main objective and raise their voices effectively rather than getting distracted by secondary issues. Gandapur reiterated the demand that Imran Khan be allowed direct access to his personal doctor to ensure proper medical care.
