Fake Milk Producers Attack Food Authority Team During Raid in Pakpattan

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Authorities in Pakpattan faced violent resistance during a raid targeting alleged fake milk production, as suspects reportedly attacked enforcement officers on duty.

A crackdown on alleged adulterated milk production in Pakpattan turned violent when suspects reportedly attacked officials of the Punjab Food Authority during an enforcement operation.

According to officials, the raid was conducted after receiving complaints about the preparation and distribution of substandard and chemically mixed milk being supplied to local markets. The enforcement team arrived at the site to collect samples and inspect production facilities as part of an ongoing anti-adulteration campaign.

However, the situation escalated when individuals present at the location allegedly resisted the inspection and resorted to physical confrontation. Officials said food authority staff were verbally and physically assaulted in an attempt to stop the operation.

Despite the resistance, the enforcement team managed to secure evidence, including milk samples, before withdrawing from the scene for safety reasons. No official confirmation has yet been released regarding arrests, but authorities indicated that legal action is being prepared against those involved.

The Punjab Food Authority has intensified operations across the region to curb food adulteration, which poses serious health risks to consumers. Officials reiterated their commitment to continuing inspections despite threats or violence, stating that public health and food safety remain their top priority.

Further investigation is underway.
