Faysal Quraishi Opens Up on Not Receiving Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Shares Disappointment

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Faysal Quraishi, celebrated Pakistani TV and film actor, expresses frustration over not receiving Sitara-e-Imtiaz despite decades-long contribution to the entertainment industry.

ISLAMABAD:  Veteran actor Faysal Quraishi, widely recognized for his stellar performances in Pakistani television hits like Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Bashar Momin, and Case No. 9, has expressed his disappointment at not being awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

Speaking on a podcast with Shahzad Nawaz for NJ Spotlight, Quraishi shared his candid thoughts about the perceived snub. “I am thinking of going to the Imtiaz store as a protest and announcing that I am standing in Imtiaz, but I still haven’t received any Sitara… It’s been 33 years that I’ve been in the field, and I don’t know who gets Sitara-e-Imtiaz,” he remarked.
