Federal Constitutional Court Orders Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Suhail Afridi to Respond on Formation of ‘Relief Force’

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Federal Constitutional Court has summoned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi to submit a reply within 10 days regarding the formation of the so-called “Relief Force.”

The case was heard by a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aminuddin. During the proceedings, the court directed CM Afridi to respond to the petition challenging the establishment of the force.

The petitioner’s lawyer presented documents in court, arguing that CM Afridi has claimed the force is intended to counter criminals. The lawyer also referenced a Karachi High Court ruling on law and order.

During the hearing, Justice Ali Baqir questioned whether the provincial cabinet had authorized the creation of such a force. The petitioner’s lawyer clarified that no cabinet approval had been granted.

The court instructed the federal government to ensure that no laws were violated in the process. Chief Justice Aminuddin remarked that such a force should not be created for convicted individuals.
