The federal government has announced a significant change in its housing policy for government employees. Under the new decision, government employees will now be required to arrange their own private accommodation instead of being provided official residences.
According to the new policy, employees will be given a three-year lease, and one year’s advance rent will be paid. However, the payment of utility bills will be the responsibility of the allottee.
Additionally, in the case of married couples who are both government employees, only one spouse will be eligible for the official rental facility.
