FIA Raid in Sargodha Uncovers Large Stock of Banned Medicines

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Authorities intensify action against illegal drug storage and sale networks in Sargodha

SARGODHA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle carried out a major operation in Sargodha, targeting individuals allegedly involved in hoarding and selling banned and hazardous medicines, officials said.

According to authorities, the FIA team, accompanied by a drug inspector, conducted a raid at a house located in the Raza Garden area of the city. During the operation, officials recovered a large quantity of prohibited medicines that had been secretly stored inside the residence.

Officials confirmed that the confiscated medicines were taken into custody under the Drug Act. The recovered stock is suspected to pose serious health risks and was reportedly being prepared for illegal distribution.

Crackdown Against Illegal Medicine Trade

Authorities said the operation is part of an ongoing crackdown against the illegal storage and sale of unregistered and harmful pharmaceutical products. Investigators believe the operation exposed a potential network involved in supplying unauthorized medicines.

Law enforcement officials stated that raids are ongoing to arrest the suspect linked to the recovered stock. The FIA reaffirmed its commitment to curb the circulation of dangerous and counterfeit medicines and warned that strict legal action would be taken against those endangering public health.

Officials urged the public to report suspicious pharmaceutical activities to help prevent the spread of unsafe drugs.
