Finance Minister Assures KP of Full Federal Support

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has assured Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of full federal support in addressing its financial and economic challenges during a meeting with Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

According to the Ministry of Finance the meeting took place at the Finance Division where the chief minister briefed the minister on a range of fiscal issues faced by the provincial government. The discussion was described as cordial and constructive with both sides emphasizing the importance of close coordination to resolve outstanding matters.

Aurangzeb acknowledged the province’s legitimate concerns and reiterated the federal government’s commitment to providing necessary support. The meeting comes amid ongoing discussions about financial transfers, including funding for merged districts and additional allocations sought by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The development follows a recent high level consultative session chaired by Asif Ali Zardari attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and all four provincial chief ministers. Leaders reviewed economic pressures stemming from global developments and agreed against imposing a nationwide smart lockdown while stressing unity in tackling economic challenges.
