Iran Warns of Catastrophic Radiation Risk After Attacks Near Nuclear Plant

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

TEHRAN: Seyed Abbas Araghchi has warned that any radiation leak from Iran’s nuclear facilities could have devastating consequences across the region, following repeated strikes near the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.

In a letter addressed to the United Nations, the Iranian foreign minister expressed serious concern over what he described as the fourth attack near the plant. He cautioned that a potential radiation leak would not only impact Iran but could also threaten lives across Gulf countries.

Araghchi also issued a public statement on social media, stressing that any nuclear incident could lead to widespread environmental and human catastrophe in the region. He compared the situation to global reactions over tensions near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, questioning whether similar concern would be shown in this case.

He further alleged that the United States and Israel had carried out multiple strikes targeting not only the nuclear site but also Iran’s petrochemical infrastructure, suggesting broader strategic objectives behind the attacks.

The warning highlights growing fears of a nuclear safety crisis amid escalating regional conflict.
