Islamabad Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Patwari Over Failure to Appear

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad: A court has issued bailable arrest warrants worth 50,000 rupees against Circle Patwari Malik Babar for repeatedly failing to appear in court.

According to details, the court of Ambarin Iqbal Chaudhry issued the warrants against the circle patwari of Mauza Rawat due to his continuous absence from hearings.

According to the court order, during the hearing held on March 3, 2026, the decree-holder Mubashir Siddiq appeared through his lawyer Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Kiani, Advocate.

During the arguments, the lawyer stated that the concerned circle patwari is allegedly a close associate of the Rawat land-grabbing mafia, and despite the case being under trial in court, the property of Hameeda Yasmeen and Sughra had been sold.

According to the lawyer, Hameeda Yasmeen filed a claim in court stating that her father Wilayat Khan had gifted her 32 kanals of land. However, the claim does not mention anything about 284 kanals of land.

When the court’s attention was drawn to these facts, it summoned the circle patwari along with the relevant land records to decide the matter on merit. The case was scheduled for the appearance of Circle Patwari Malik Babar of Mauza Rawat, Islamabad.

The court received a report from the process server stating that the summons had been delivered to the patwari. However, despite the notices being served twice, he failed to appear in court.

Taking serious notice of his non-appearance, the court ordered the issuance of bailable arrest warrants worth 50,000 rupees against Malik Babar.

Further proceedings in the case have been adjourned until March 26, 2026.
