Islamabad Police Issue Traffic Advisory Amid Foreign Delegations’ Movement and Security Measures

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Traffic diversions, heightened security, and Red Zone restrictions imposed in Islamabad amid foreign delegations’ movement.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has issued an important traffic advisory regarding expected disruptions on Srinagar Highway and the Express Highway due to the movement of foreign delegations.

According to the spokesperson, traffic diversions will be implemented at key points to manage security and mobility during high-level visits. Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during this period, except in cases of emergency.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes as diversions remain in place. Authorities further stated that entry into the Red Zone will be strictly prohibited for all vehicles except official government transport. The public has been strongly advised not to travel toward the Red Zone under any circumstances.

Security across the city has been placed on high alert, with intensified checking at entry and exit points to ensure safety and maintain order.

The police have requested full cooperation from citizens with law enforcement agencies during this period of heightened security. For real-time traffic updates, the public is encouraged to follow the official WhatsApp channel of Islamabad Traffic Police, along with verified social media platforms and ITP FM 92.4 for continuous guidance.
