Naqvi emphasizes public-friendly policing and swift completion of ongoing projects
Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted an inspection of newly constructed and under-construction police stations in Islamabad, highlighting the government’s push for modern, citizen-friendly policing.
Minister Naqvi visited Kohsar Police Station, the under-construction Women Police Station G-6, and the Coral Police Station, reviewing facilities and operations. At Kohsar Police Station, he examined the new building’s advanced amenities, including the front desk and other key sections, and instructed officials to enhance services for the public.
“The focus is on promoting modern policing with improved public facilities in these newly built stations,” Naqvi said. He directed the swift completion of the Women Police Station G-6 and ordered the Coral Police Station to be fully operational within two months.
Naqvi also stressed the use of advanced infrastructure and technology to align Islamabad’s policing system with international standards. The inspections were attended by the IG Islamabad Police, CDA Chairman, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other senior officials.
