Indian actress Krishna Shroff, daughter of veteran actor Jackie Shroff has opened up about her personal life revealing that she is in a live-in relationship with an Afghan mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. Krishna 33, shared the details during her participation in the reality show The 50, where she discussed her private life candidly in a recent episode.
Krishna explained that while the show’s tasks are challenging, her personal life has been equally eventful. She revealed her deep interest in fitness brought her closer to an MMA fighter. Although she did not disclose his name on the show reports suggest he is Afghan fighter Abdul Azim Badakhshi.
According to Krishna the pair first met at an event in Mumbai after which they connected on Instagram and maintained regular communication through video calls for approximately eight months. They later met in Goa spending two weeks together, which strengthened their bond. Subsequent time spent together in Delhi and Mumbai led to the decision to live together.
Krishna highlighted that the essence of love for her is caring for each other’s happiness and peace. She also shared that language was initially a challenge, as her partner spoke Persian and she spoke English with both having limited fluency in Hindi yet mutual understanding helped bridge the gap.
