KIPS CEO Abid Wazir Khan Reportedly Abducted Lahore Police Register Case

Lahore: Police have registered a case following the reported disappearance of Abid Wazir Khan Chief Executive Officer of KIPS Education System under suspicious circumstances. The incident has raised serious concerns within the education and business communities given Khan’s prominent role in the private education sector.

The first information report (FIR) was lodged by Khan’s brother Tahir Wazir Khan, at Jauhar Town police station. Police have registered the case under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code which pertains to kidnapping or abduction with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.

According to the complaint the incident occurred on Wednesday at around 6:34 pm. Abid Wazir Khan had just left a corporate office in Jauhar Town when he phoned KIPS General Manager Lubna. During the call she reportedly heard a knock on his car window, followed by an unidentified voice saying You have caused an accident involving my car. The phone call then disconnected abruptly.

The complainant expressed fears that unidentified individuals had taken his brother and that his life could be in grave danger. Police have launched an investigation reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas and questioning potential witnesses. Authorities say efforts are ongoing to trace Khan’s movements and identify those involved while urging the public to share any information that may help locate him.
